Well established music bar & restaurant in Puerto Rico.
On offer is one of the most popular music bars with it’s own restaurant, located in the centre of the main shopping centre in Puerto Rico. The bar & restaurant are separated by half glazed folding doors so they can be run independently or opened up as one huge venue.
To the front of the bar & restaurant is a 40m² terrace with 18 tables each with 2 high back blue glass fibre chairs with cushions. There are also 6 blue parasols. The terrace overlooks the central square of the shopping centre.
Inside the bar is a huge air conditioned seating area of 58m². This area has 35 low tables and 104 chairs with red cushions, 1 tall table with 4 chairs, 10 bar stools and a raised platform with a bench seat which can seat another 10. The floor is tiled in a light brown, the walls are wood panelled and the ceiling is mottled white & a very pale brown
The sound system is housed in a booth overlooking the main area and has a small stage in front for the karaoke performers or other guest artistes. The system includes 2 mixing desks, CD & mini disk players and pc based karaoke with dedicated monitor. The satellite TV system has 2 dishes on the roof (one is a 3m dish for Sky). This feeds 4 large screen TVs, 5 Plasma TVs and 3 projectors with drop down screens, making sure that everyone has a good view.
At the rear is a storage area (10m²) containing extra chairs and includes a curtained off area with 3 urinals. This area has a window to the rear. Just off this area are 2 fully tiled toilets each 1.37m² with wc, basin & mirror. The storage area has the plumbing in place for 3 more toilets.
The well equipped bar service area (16m²) includes a small stainless steel sink, glass washer, 5 section chilled display cabinet with stainless steel storage above, 3 beer pumps, fridge, 3 tall chilled display cabinets, freezer for glasses, filter coffee machine, electronic till and gas storage cupboard. Above the wooden bar counter is more storage space and plenty of hooks for hanging glasses.
Next to the bar, and separated from it by half glazed white folding doors if required is the restaurant with a seating area of 48.7m², and a capacity of 44. This area has a plasma tv, projection tv and loudspeaker from the bars’ sound system. These belong to the bar if the bar & restaurant are sold separately.
The front section has a wood panelled ceiling with fan, and folding doors separate it from the neighbouring terrace. The ceiling in the inner area wall has a large arched mirror. The décor and furniture match the bar so it can be opened out to look like one huge bar area.
To the rear is the kitchen (10.8m²) which has stainless steel walls, double pizza oven, 6 section bain marie, electric slicer, plancha, 6 ring gas cooker with oven under & extractor above. Double deep fat fryer (floor standing), wall mounted grill, 4 & 5 section chiller cabinets, double stainless steel sink with foot operated water supply, freezer, 2 industrial & 1 domestic microwave, industrial mixer & mincer.
At one side of the restaurant are 2 fully tiled toilets each 1.3m² with wc, pedestal basin, mirror and hand dryer.
This bar restaurant has been running successfully for many years and part of the success is due to the versatility of the premises in as much as it is easy to close the restaurant when it is quiet, or use it as part of the bar area. The entertainment facilities also offer variety including live music, karaoke, discos (with good facilities for visiting DJs), TV (sports being particularly popular) or just quiet background music.

Gran Canaria weather
The climate of Gran Canaria is considered to be among the best in the world - year-round warm weather with constant sunshine. Boasting a number of different micro-climates, this volcanic island experiences diverse conditions and terrain, from tropical forests to snow-capped peaks, with the south of the island, home to the major tourist resorts, seeing the sunniest driest weather. The moderate temperatures in each region hardly fluctuate from season, with the variance between summer and winter being only 6C.
Weather in Gran Canaria - Glorious spring-like conditions all year-round
Dry and sunny most of the year-round, and with constant spring-like conditions, Gran Canaria is an ideal climate for all holidaymakers, from sun-worshippers to nature-lovers alike. Temperatures through the spring and summer can range from 23C to 27C, with the average temperature for both seasons being 25C. Gran Canaria does not experience excessive high temperatures during the summer, and the trade winds that blow across the island certainly help to temper the heat. The island sometimes sees the very hot summer winds coming up from the Sahara, known as the ’sirocco’, bringing higher temperatures as well as a cloud of fine sand from the desert. Sea temperatures remain very pleasant throughout the year, ranging from 22C in the summer to 18C in winter.
Gran Canaria weather - Home to a variety of micro-climates
Winters in Gran Canaria see pleasant temperatures ranging between 21C-24C, with humidity rising during January and February, and the highest chance of rain. The wettest time falls between October and April, and although the levels of precipitation are relatively low, the island sees enough rain to maintain the lush green landscapes seen in the north. The north of Gran Canaria tends to be cloudier and wetter than the south, with the mountainous terrain inland seeing quite a different climate, with plenty of wind, and snow during the winter.
